He is also the creator of TDI's Introduction to Exploration Diver course, making a lasting contribution to the technical diving community.

While he is widely recognized for his expertise in technical and rebreather diving, Jorge remains passionate about introducing new divers to the underwater world. He continues to teach Open Water courses, believing that every great diver starts with a strong foundation.

When he isn't teaching or leading technical expeditions, Jorge enjoys exploring the waters of South Florida, where he continues to discover, learn, and share his passion for diving.

Known for his approachable teaching style, extensive knowledge, and dedication to diver development, Jorge is committed to helping every student—from beginner to advanced technical diver—build confidence, expand their skills, and create unforgettable underwater experiences.

Having been a certified scuba diver since 1996, it's clear Mike has a wealth of experience and knowledge. Learning from top industry professionals like Jill Hienerth, Paul Hienerth and Jorge Flores was an amazing opportunity.

Instructor Vicente Fito Dahne

Meet Vicente Fito Dahne. He is originally from Spain and has been living in the Mexican Caribbean since 2000.

He earned his first scuba certification in 1990 in Mallorca, Spain, a beautiful island in the Mediterranean Sea.

From the very beginning, he knew he wanted to become a diving instructor. In 1994, he achieved his Instructor certification with the CMAS training agency. He later became an SSI Instructor in 1996, a PADI Instructor in 1999, and in 2000 moved to Mexico to pursue cave diving.

He completed his Full Cave Diver certification in February 2000. His original plan was to spend only one year diving the Mexican caves to gain experience, but those plans quickly changed. He fell deeply in love with the cave systems of Mexico and decided to make the region his permanent home.

In 2008, he became a Full Cave Instructor, and in 2017 he achieved the level of Full Cave Instructor Trainer.

Throughout his career, he has logged more than 10,000 cave dives. He is also passionate about teaching sidemount, hypoxic trimix, DPV Cave, and Technical DPV courses.

He is an experienced CCR cave diver, certified on the Kiss Sidewinder, AP Inspiration Vision 2020, and ISC Megalodon rebreathers.

His passion for exploration has led him to discover, explore, and map more than 60 new caves throughout the Yucatán Peninsula, laying over 40 kilometers of new guideline through some of the region's most spectacular underwater cave systems.

During his explorations, he discovered a human skeleton belonging to one of the earliest inhabitants of the Americas, estimated to be approximately 13,000 years old and currently under scientific investigation. He has also discovered numerous Mayan human remains and fossils of several extinct animals. One of these discoveries was identified as a previously unknown species and an entirely new genus.

These discoveries sparked a deep interest in scientific research. Since then, he has collaborated on numerous archaeological and paleontological projects, reporting significant findings and contributing to photogrammetry, cave mapping, and the documentation and recovery of archaeological and paleontological evidence.

Today, he is dedicated to training the next generation of cave and technical diving instructors through four leading training agencies: SDI/TDI, IANTD, SSI XR, and Go Side Mount's Razor Sidemount program.

Instructor Gabriel Diaz

Meet Gabriel Diaz

A true native of the Sunshine State, my life has revolved around the ocean since birth—and it still does today. My name is Gabriel Diaz, but I go by Lu. I'm an American-born Cuban from Miami, with a lifetime of passion and a career deeply rooted in the ocean.

I became scuba-certified on Halloween in 2013 (spooky timing, right?). From a young age, I had always dreamed of becoming a scuba diver. My love for snorkeling, boating, and the wonders of the ocean drove me to pursue a career as a marine biologist. I applied my growing knowledge of marine life to research and continued to enhance my diving skills, eventually progressing to advanced and technical courses.

In 2020, I joined a local dive shop in the Florida Panhandle that specialized in technical diving. There, I learned from seasoned experts about equipment, inspections, and repairs. Encouraged by supportive friends at the shop and my insatiable curiosity, I took on the challenge of cave diving—and yes, cave cookies are as great as they say!

After nearly a year of rigorous training with experienced instructors, I became an Open Water Instructor in 2024. Now, I’m passionate about sharing my knowledge and experiences with every student I guide.

If you feel the call of the ocean and are ready for an epic adventure, let’s connect. I’m here to help you dive in and discover a whole new world beneath the waves.
